New US Environmental Protection Agency Award
To commemorate the EPA’s 50th anniversary last year, the Boy Scouts of America and EPA signed a memorandum of understanding to create a special award, encouraging those in the Scouts BSA program to strive to protect the environment.

Eagle Refs is Back
The eaglerefs.org site is back and whole. All Eagle Scout candidates must use it to request references and to upload a picture of their finished Eagle project with the Scout in the picture.

The National Venturing Committee is pleased to announce that effective immediately the Venturing, Discovery, Pathfinder and Summit awards will be referred to as Venturing ranks to improve consistency among the different programs within Scouting.
